CAIR-Chicago is hustling and bustling with activities

The CAIR-Chicago Governmental Relations Department is hustling and bustling more than ever! That’s right, there is so much activity that we haven’t stopped to take a breather. What exactly is going on?
The New Americans Democracy Project is in full swing with Haady Taslim as he travels through Bridgeview, Illinois registering voters. Officially hitting the ground on July 10th, to date Haady has successfully completed 350 voter registrations.

After Labor Day, with a great team of volunteers, Haady will be switching over to a Get Out the Vote Campaign to mobilize the community to vote on Election Day. If you want to join the join, the team, email htaslim@gmail.com or gov.relations@cairchicago.org

The Governmental Relations Interns have been working diligently on compiling a voter education guide for Muslim voters with voting records and responses to a questionnaire distributed earlier this summer by CAIR-Chicago. The project is expected to be completed in next few weeks. Keep an eye out for the voter education guides!
